Explore Healing Power of
Traditional Chinese Medicine Therapies

Traditional Chinese Medicine offers a holistic approach to health, emphasizing the balance of body, mind, and spirit. Among its various therapies, Guasha and cupping emphasise unblocking the blockages, acupuncture seeks to restore energy flow and harmonise the connection between the body and the mind, moxibustion replenishes the source to strengthen the energy flow, and herbal medicine uses natural ingredients to support healing and well-being,  Each therapy plays a delicate role in the whole treatment. Together, these provide a comprehensive framework for achieving optimal health and harmony.

Acupuncture

Oldest and most popular therapy of TCM.

Acupuncture aims to regulate the flow of "Qi", life essence, along the meridians that connect every part of the body to form a whole.

The points on the meridians where acupuncture inserts needles in are considered as the gateways for the exchange of Qi between three layers of human beings, the body, mind and spirit.   Therefore, acupuncture is the extremely versatile and effective therapy for various disorders involving different layers, such as pain, infertility, insomnia, depression, etc.

Due to ease and efficiency of use, acupuncture is also the first option to prevent diseases and enhance overall well-being.

I use a combination of the classical technique, navel "Ba Gua" method and Tung's acupuncture for optimal outcomes with less pain.

Initial Acupuncture session (90mins): $120

Follow-ups (60mins): $100

Moxibustion

My most favourite TCM therapy, but unfortunately rarely used by most Chinese medicine practitioners nowadays.

Moxa is an extremely powerful way for replenishing Qi with its special smell and thermal radiation produced by burning up the specific plant, mugwort, along the meridians over thousands of years of TCM practice.  So in addition to the therapeutic purpose, it's considered as the best therapy of TCM to prevent diseases, strengthen constitution  and extend life-span.

There a wide range of moxa techniques had been invented for different situations, including Hanging moxa, Direct moxa, Ginger moxa, thunder fire moxa and Warm needling.

I'm used to choosing the moxa method based on the individual circumstances. Applying hanging moxa for the elderly and children due to its gentle nature. Direct moxa suits people with chronic diseases because of its highly efficient and intensive stimulation. Warm needling as a combination of moxa and acupuncture provides a comprehensive treatment for complicated cases.

Moxibustion Treatment (60mins): $100

Chinese Herbs

Chinese herbal medicine is a time-tested practice with profound historical significance.

By harnessing specific combinations of natural ingredients, involving flowers, seeds, barks and minerals, this holistic approach could provide personalised therapeutic effects in accordance with individuality.

The principle of Chinese herbal medicine is simple but profound, which typical includes:

  • Treating both manifestations and the root cause

  • Treating deficiency syndrome with tonifying herbs

  • Treating excess syndrome with purgative herbs

  • Eliminating pathogens and replenishing Qi in combination

I prescribe herbs in the form of pills and granules for much easier use with less bitter taste than the traditional way.

Chinese Herb Consultation: $30

Herbal Granules: $15~20 per day

Herbal Patent: $15~20 per bottle (200pills)

Cupping & Tuina

Cupping has gained popularity in years among athletes and wellness enthusiasts for its potential benefits in muscle recovery and pain relief by enhancing blood flow, reducing inflammation, and promoting deep relaxation of the soft tissues,

Unfortunately it is rarely recognised by people cupping is actually an optimal method to lose weight and purify the body with the efficacy of eliminating the wastes accumulated under the surface due to poor circulation and deficient Qi.

Tuina is traditional Chinese massage, rooted in the principles of Chinese medicine.

So it is not only a form of relaxation but also a therapeutic approach to unblock obstruction, alleviate pain, improve the function of internal organs and promote overall well-being  through a variety of delicate techniques such as kneading, rolling, and pressing on the meridians.

Cupping and Tuina are excellent complementary methods for versatile purposes in my practice, which are often applied in combination to enhance the efficacy while minimising the possible discomforts from an intensive cupping session.

Remedia Cupping & Tuina (60mins): $100

Relaxing Cupping (30mins): $60
